Rise of the Yamato (Ancient and Medieval Japan) 2016-10-05

These new graphics replace the Ancient and Medieval Age graphics with new architectural styles representing the pre-modern golden ages of Japanese civilization. The "Ancient Age" graphics are representative of the Asuka, Nara, and Heian Periods (645 - 1185 CE), a time when the Yamato consolidated their power on the island of Honshu and when the foundations of Japanese civilization were laid. The "Middle Ages" graphics represent the Kamakura, Muromachi, Azuchi-Momoyama, and Tokugawa Periods (1185 - 1868 CE), the age of the samurai when feudal lords dominated the politics of the Imperial Court and great warlords vie for supremacy.

I haven't worked on the Industrial (Meiji -> Taisho) and Modern (Showa -> Heisei) graphics yet, but I should have them up by next week. This graphics pack is only for Ancient and Modern and is perfect for any scenario set in pre-modern Japan, such as the Sengoku Jidai or the Gempei War.
