A space based Star Wars scenario with high quality graphics by Nikola Kuprešanin. Gorgeous graphics but sadly the original scenario never had any custom sounds.
Mod files rescued from Apolyton backups and repacked in 7zip by Blake. Successfully tested in Civ2 MGE. Also there was no Title.gif so Blake added one for fun.
This scenario has a huge sequel called Star Contact Part II: Star Wars Vs Star Trek!

Original Description/Intro:
STAR CONTACT PART 1: THE STAR WARS
A long,long time ago,in a galaxy far,far away...
Afther the Battle of Yavin,Rebel Alliance is forced to avoid
open battle against mighty Imperial fleet.The dreadful Star
Destroyers are set to search every part of the galaxy in order
to discover one of Rebel secret bases.Also there is a Darth
Vader,obsessed with desire to found young Jedi who destroyed
Death Star.He already knows the truth about his origin.
Greedy Trade Federation is Imperial most loyal ally.The league
Of Free Planets is weak alliance of technically developed star
Systems as Corelia or Defiant.The gangster empire of Jabba Hutt
is getting more power every day.Hutt pirates are enslaveing all
small planets a long their border around Hutt Barana and Tatooine.
Neutral planets are representing all minor planets and systems.
Yuuzhan Vong are unknown and powerfull race,came from out of the
galaxy and coverd with mistery.They conquered all Outrim worlds
in southeast sectors.
^THIS SCENARIO SHOULD BE PLAYED AS EMPIRE ONLY!
