Vanilla Enhanced Mod 2016-10-05

Vanilla Enhanced Mod

  1. Thalassicus
(Not yet updated for pre-BNW patch)

The most influential community project in vanilla Civ 5, the Vanilla Enhanced Mod (vem) makes the game more fun and challenging while keeping close to the spirit of vanilla. Most balance adjustments in Firaxis patches originated here. Vem is a collaboration of work from 26 mod authors and an incredible community of forumgoers on CivFanatics.com.

This package also includes the vanilla version of the Civ V Unofficial Patch (civup).

Please view the readme in the mod folder, which includes important information about using Civ 5 mods. Modders can easily use the tools in Civup within your own mod by including Civup as a dependency in ModBuddy project associations.

NOTE: Do *not* have this installed with Gods and Kings. It is only compatible with non-expansion vanilla. The G&K expansion version is here: forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=15667
