So there's no version without custom civs?
Perhaps I can edit the worldbuilder save to put normal civs in?
Is there any way to play this map without installing the mod? I tried just loading the map via the worldbuilder but the game crashed.
So after wasting half an hour trying to play this mod I noticed that it's for 3.13. Is there no way to play it on 3.19? Is the mod dead?
Would an i7 740QM (1.73-2.93GHz) and a GeForce GT 330M (1GB) run the game at higher settings?
Wow, someone likes to troll. ;)
Wow, I guess it must have been a bug or something. I definitely have found resources on mines outside of a city (one instance clear in my mind),...
No, of course not, I'm not that stupid.
I've played games where mines not even in range of any city have discovered resources.
I just hope that the model shown isn't the final one - it doesn't even have arms! Dx
Wierd how people have to keep repeating this. The tile doesn't have to be worked to discover a resource - I've experienced it many times.
If I recall correctly it's 1 in 2000.
Well you're making a good story out of it regardless. =3
The AI always plays on noble (at least I think it's noble). Your difficulty level just gives it other bonuses, but I don't think it changes AI...
No no, metals whose identifying techs are already researched can be discovered outside your BFC using mines. There's a simple way to show it -...
I disagree, my mines have generated resources outside any BFCs.
The odds can be found in the XML files for improvements.
Poor design. The diplomacy side of the game is sadly underdeveloped, and very restrictive. It can be very frustrating.
Why no montezuma? Doesn't the lack of competition make the early game trivially easy?
Hah hah, well, there are quite a lot of types, and lots have multiple subsettings, and it takes my PC a while to load/generate a single map.
Well I actually meant the scrips included in the game. I still don't know what half of them do.
Is there a map script that will reliably make continents without them being hideous square blobs? The earth-like one, Terra I think, is nice, but...
Regular barbs can't enter borders until the total number of cities in the world exceed 2*(number of remaining civs), unless they see a target near...
