Looks like an interesting patch is coming.
Hopefully this will fix the feel of the game. :D
Well, was able to play the G&K soundtrack while playing XCOM, so I would say it would be okay?
They explicitly said that BE music was to come free with the game.
Hmm. Found the Music page on Steam. Strange that I only have Gods and Kings Soundtrack though, despite having Brave New World and Vanilla.
I tried tinkering and exploring my Steam client, but I could not find this. :/
65981_depotcache_1.csd for me is 2.8GB. o___o
Can't find that directory on my PC. O__o BE is installed though.
My download screen yesterday:
I just checked. My brothers and my friends all had different install sizes, some of us with 5.7GB, and others with 2.7GB.
Is this a bug?
^ I think we'll all be learning that on the first few runs.
Why is everyone getting different file size totals?
Mine was 5.7GB. :/
There's a free demo coming up on release that's turn-locked.
I suggest you guys try it out and see for yourselves. :D
You don't have to buy it...
^ !!!!! This I can check on my office laptop. Didn't know there was a feature like that for Civ5.
That gives me an idea! Since I've pre-loaded the game, it must be somewhere in there already! @___@
I have to try when I get home.
@MadDjinn + Acken + Camikaze: Dankeschon. :D
We really hope Beyond Earth has a long life.
BE has a completely original soundtrack, composed by Geoff Knorr, Griffin Cohen, Grant Kirkhope and...
I read in the recent AMA that the full soundtrack will be released for free with the game.
Question is, where do you download this? Do we have...
Done with pre-load yay. XD 5.7GB ain't so bad.
I dunno. I found too many talking units to be an annoyance, TBH.
Unless I was playing something like Starcraft or an RTS that made it necessary...
Woohoo! 1AM on the 24th for us! XD
Pete Murray said on Twitter that they definitely can move and shoot. o_O
Maybe 'cause that's a non-release build?
