I confirm what you say. AI frigates can attack tiles that are not coastal.
Ok I usually already have around 10-12 cities when it happens. But still, the jump from settler to pioneer makes that you never build pioneers. So...
I like the reshuffle in starting technologies and how resources are now revealed.
I'm just puzzled about the very high pioneer production cost. I...
As I remember, you can see the %chance to capture before attacking (just below the other attack modifiers).
What is the formula for pioneer's production cost? In my game they cost more than a colonist. Not sure if it is intended.
Is it normal that a Nau can get the Naval Siege and Vanguard promotions? Those affect ranged combat strength.
You get a free frigate from the Treasure Fleet in world congress. Babylon probably doesn't have any cities near ocean so they put it there.
@Zuizgond You need the Railway station building in VP to get a prod bonus.
Oh ok, didn't know that. Thanks!
Do you guys see the production bonus from railroad connection?
Wait for a community patch. Firaxis seems to be unable to code a proper AI since 1UPT.
Ok that's probably the reason. Thanks
Are chateau yield affected by roads? I put some workers on automated in industrial era (yeah I know automated workers are bad) and they start...
Sorry I didn't read all the posts on the Aug 5 version. What was the bug about AI growth?
AI being a threat.
That's where 1UPT is really stupid. As long as you are not at war, you should be able to occupy the same tile as other civilizations' units.
Too much budget goes into art, animation and voice acting. If all that development time went into coding a challenging AI that does not rely on...
AI could not keep up because no resources have been dedicated to it.
They should pay us to accept to play the game against such a pathetic AI.
The AI is still super dumb at deity level. It just has a ton of bonus to compensate for its stupidity. It's like playing chess against a 4-year...
