Well I'm just over 100 hours now and am still playing. This time around I've not got as much of the instant love as I had with previous Civ games....

I read most of it, and skimmed a bit of it... but couldn't see a fix for the combat animation bug. Anyone else see it?

Merchants, definitely. My biggest pain-in-the-butt is when I don't have enough cash to upgrade my army. So Merchants solve this. :)
I'm currently hooked on Hannibal, renamed as Teutorix, leading the Celts, and we have Redcoats. Go figure. :)
You misread me, I just said I didn't like AI Cultural victories. :) A guy's allowed to dislike something! ;)

I agree it would be handy if there was a warning of a Cultural or Domination...
