I received an email today from Aspyr announcing a Mac/Linux release date of Oct. 9 for BERT and a preorder link of $3 off. ($26.99 instead of $29.99).

Steam also shows Oct. 9, so it's probably official.

Wow, that's much earlier than what I was expecting!

I hope they can polish most of it up in time.

I wonder if the vanilla patch will be released before then, and if so, how much earlier. It would be nice to have a little something to hold me over for a bit as I wait those last few agonizing days.

I think the devs already said that they are planning for a simultaneous release of the vanilla patch and Rising Tide.

I'm not surprised because i'm a Xcom fan and I found it strange that they released both games the same month
