What should this kind of galley be? A Byzantine Unique Naval Unit or generic? And which era (Classical or Medieval) should this ship shows up?
^ This kind of galley is originated in Rome, evolved from Imperial 'Upgraded' Liburnia (originally a light scout vessel (and even monoreme), and light...
As a big fan of Civ 6 compared to 5; one area in which I think the game went backwards was in navy's. Civilization has always struggled to make them relevant; but I think 5 had come up some improvements with the ability to blockade cities from trade (edit: it was 4 that added blockades)...
i think this would be an awesome improvement and allow navies to be used in a wider array of scenarios. even if it turned the tile to water i would suspect the effect is still achieved. The balancing is up for debate but it would be cool to use your navy to aid you when you try to attack a land...
So my Frigate just bombarded the Macedonian Musketmen in the water. I guess it's weathered the hit better being a corps rather than just a single unit; but I'm still pretty disappointed at how little a dent was made. Why have a navy when your land units are that strong in the water? I don't mind...
Playing my 3rd and 4th game of Civ5 (King Level) one with islands, the other on land; I wound up doing a detailed comparison on the effect of playing a pure Navy game vs an Army game. The Land game was Shoeshone on Lakes, where I mainly used Tanks with full honor and Order. For the Navy game I...
TBH I miss the Civ 4 requirement of having to build and/or embark land units on naval units as opposed to having land units pull transports out of their asses.
Would anyone know of a mod or be interested in making a mod that would model this in some way?
At the very least I'd like to see it...

I do not know how many of you guys loved doing a naval domination on Civ V but this was one of my favorite things (mostly because I am impatient and naval units move faster). So I was thinking, there should be a button in the settings that forces the capital to start on the coast (I believe...
I find the naval aspect of the game somewhat lacking in Civ VI compared to older games.
One word: pirates.
More specifically, I think an interesting fix could be to firstly separate land/sea trade routes. Don't necessarily make a new trade unit, but have land trade routes and sea trade routes...
Adding to the Flying Camera buzz. The Navy SEALs look cool, especially with all that blue glow going on. Flying camera mode: CTRL+ALT+F after enabling it on the .ini file.
