Plopped my capital in the middle of a desert with river, got faith from ruin on turn 20 and founded desert folklore. Got no faith from worked tiles, no faith icons on map, no flash symbol in my capital from the pantheon. Google isn't helping, and i can't post a screenshot, because it complains...
