ps4 bugs ranged

hi ive just got civ 6 on ps4 (with the pre order stuff and expansions) after playing awhile I found that ranged units (slinger, archer,crossbow, frigate etc) wont fire I click the fire icon and it cancels off the unit like im pressing cycle ive tried save and loading ive tried restarting ps4...
