Thank you both for posting so quickly after my email.

Chopstyx - I think we have a very interesting game going, so i'd hate to see you leave. I do not mind legitimate delays, even if they are frequent. So I wouldn't mind leaving this game on the slow burner (how would everyone else feel about this?). If, on the other hand, you have just become burnt out on Civ and don't wish to play when you have the opportunity I would understand and offer to seek a replacement player for your fine empire (unless you wanted to select your own replacement).

Okay, if the weeks away are okay with people then I'd be happy to stay with the game for now. I'll be back in the UK on Wednesday so I'll play my turn then & send it on...

    Thanks.

portuga, ruff, and 1889 - please post or email me directly to confirm that regular breaks due to travel are acceptable. Non-replies will be considered to be approvals.

played and sent to chopstyx. I will continue to keep playing this game - I can afford the time with a turn every month (or even every other month) :D

Should we swap chop out with an AI and play on? I emailed him the game on the 26th and no action.

I checked in with Chopstyx earlier today, he said he had already passed the game on. So it should be with Portuga or 1889.

Just a heads up that i'll be fairly busy for the next two weeks, though no delay on my part should be more than 48 hours during that time.

Played 1700 AD and sent forward.

I retired, and the AI will play the final turns of my soon to be wiped out civ. There is nothing I can do but press the end turn button, so I guess there's no point in the slow down the game for me to play my turn.
But if you prefer I do so, just let me know and I'll replay the turn and keep on playing until the bitter end :)

I hope you all have fun with the rest of the game, and may the best win - as long as it is not France :) good game.

Sorry portuga - I've been wondering what you had been doing while I was taking Spain and Germany. I expected that you would have been taking over the Vikings.
