[1.0.1.104] Mac - Can't join Multiplayer Lobby after Frontier Pass Update

Title says it all basically. Never had problems joining a MP lobby before the Maya& Gran Colombia update, now it keeps saying something like "Your version of the game is not the same as the host ones". Since Mac had to wait longer for the Frontier pass update I was thinking that that's the problem. But even after receiving the update on Mac, I'm still not able to join my friends MP Lobby, who all play on PC/Windows. I've heard that Linux got the same problem. I've already submitted a ticket at 2k support, and also posted this bug on reddit. Hoping for a solution, since it has been now 10 days that I'm waiting for playing with my friends again.
