Here it is. Having looked at it a moment ago, it did seem to have sorted itself out. Newer boosts are only 40%...

I wonder if it was something only tied to the ancient era, as you should still be able to see Sailing in the tech tree with a 50% boost in the save.

You mentioned you were in a Golden Age, do you happen to know what kind of Golden Age it was? Free Inquiry, perhaps?

No, it was the religious one. Though even if I had been in the scientific or cultural one that wouldn't explain boosts in both trees. And being the classical era I certainly wasn't in a Heroic age, which could have produced boosts in both trees.
