On turn 144, I have an international trade route from Kashamarka to Aachen. The trader is 1 tile east of Aachen.
On turn 145, the trader is back in Kashamarka, available to start a trade route.
It so happens that my alliance with Germany ends at the same time, so I wonder if these are related.
Although, I also watched it happen at the end of turn 144. The trader moves east, all other players take their turns, and a gentle eruption of a volcano occurs, covering the tile the trader is-was on.
So I don't know if this is a bug due to the alliance ending, or merely an undocumented side-effect of the volcanic eruption.
