Fun little tooltip bug I discovered in my recent game:
Both the regular-colour and the red notification say the same thing: "The Capital of Greece has been captured by Greece!"
This happened when I (Greece) took back Olympia from Friedrich. Here's the chain of events:
- Friedrich (playing Egypt) forward-settled me, I forward-settled him back, we went to war.
- He took Olympia from me, which was my remote forward post.
- I then took his capital, Waset. Olympia became his new capital.
- When I took it back from him, he lost his capital, but presumably the game went by the founder - so I got the regular note for taking an enemy capital, and the red note for losing my own capital
No real impact, obviously, but interesting tangle in the code nonetheless.
