10/12 Game Session Delayed

I have been invited to attend an unusual sporting competition. It involves a round, leather ball, wooden sticks and the consumption of much fermented beverages. They call it Baseball, or something like that.

Unfortunately, this will delay the start of the turn chat tonight several hours. I will hold the turn chat starting at MIDNIGHT, central time tonight.

Err, ummmm.

You see, it was like this.

The Cards won, and my ride wanted to celebrate, but just for a bit.

3 Bud Selects, Tequila and Rumplemintz later, we started back. And found that Metrolink was shutting down for the night. Got a cab. Got to his car, where he promptly passed out.

Long story short - Ravensfire got home WAY too late to think of anything but bed.

Oh, but it was a GREAT game. A suicide squeeze? YES! Done perfectly!

I'll be running it at 5pm Central time tonight. That's 10 pm GMT (2200 hours)

Sorry for the trouble all - the events of the post-game were not planned.

I tried as well, plus tried through my employer. If it wasn't for a cousin that had something come up, I would've been at home.

I don't know, I haven't been downtown to see the new stadium in awhile. Is it nearing completion? I've always heard that this was the last series for Busch Stadium, and that it's being demolished once the series is off.

Would be great if the Cardinals can claim the World Series this year though.

Still a long ways off - but the basic structure is up. Red-brick, old-style construction - it looks really, really nice.

This is the last year for the old Busch stadium, and it would be great to send her off in style, with the Cards celebrating a World Series win here in St. Louis.

Red-brick, like Budweiser color? Would be fitting.

Also, I'd love for the Cardinals to claim the World Series this year. Last year we were the best team, no question. We just blew it in the World Series.
