Rules:

- You will control a nation of Europe, North Africa or the Middle East at 1000AD. It does not have to be an actual nation from history, but if it is not, you will have to post your history, but be realistic. Please try to stay away from the nations like they are in civ.

- You are in complete control, kind of like a Civ game. Don't post only about your military, but also about other important factors that make an empire grow.

- Your claims will be put in via a claims thread that I make.

- No inventing new stuff. That will be handled by a 3rd party.

- After enough people join in, I will create a factbook thread where each person posts facts about their nation. This will have to be approved by an impartial 3rd party.

- Wars will be run via PM to an designated 3rd party. This 3rd party must be announced beforehand so that there are not different people posting different sides of the battle.

- At 1300, I will allow colonies in Africa, also a few non-player states will be formed to interact with. Colonies must be approved by a designated 3rd party

- At 1500, The likewise will happen with the rest of the world.

- Keep any out of game talk in this thread.

Events:
- A designated 3rd party shall be able to allow events to happen to other nations (must be impartial). These include inventions, as well as events like those in Civ.

Diplomacy:
- Here is how you contact a nation in-game. Be sure to bold it to make it stand out.:

To: OTHER NATION
Fr: YOUR NATION

Diplomacy Here

You can put the words TOP SECRET above it and only the nation(s) addressed will know about this.

I volunteer to not play to be a 3rd party if there isn't enough 3rd parties, however you can still play if you are a 3rd party, you just don't do events and colonies and 3rd party diplomacy and just do wars (Which is needed more) as long as you are neutral in the conflict. The point here is to keep the game more realistic

What do you think?

Isn't this just the discussion of the game? Not the game itself?

But anyhow, I feel as though having historical accurate countries would make the game more fun. Can the european powers defeat Arabia in the crusades? Can Mongolia conquer all of Asia? Ect. It would make it more different that IO.

Ok, a rule I forgot: each real day is five years in game.

This is for disscussion. I will put up the factbook and claims on friday. The game will start monday. Does that sound good?

Any way that the rules should be changed?

Does anybody want to be a third party for wars? All who choose to help out now can claim their nations before friday. Just send a PM if you want to help

Ugh. Yet another IOT copy. Just join a lazyNES, or the current IOTs. I muh prefer one super large good game, than multiple okayish games.

I still say the OP's a stalker.

Well that's not a very nice thing to say! I am most defiantly not. (insert creepy saying here)

EDIT:
Oh, I see what you are thinking. The factbook thread is info about your nation. Ment to be like the CIA World Factbook. It will have questions about your nation that you answer. (Like nation name, army size, population, major resources) so that it is easier for Bobbtjoe and I to moderate wars (Wars are handled by a PM with your plans on a battle template to either me or bobbtjoe) then we post a War Report.
