Here is a 190x190 biq. map of Europe/North Africa/Middle East and Central Asia.

Basically I used the C3C Rise of Rome/Fall of Rome maps and the grids to create most of Europe tile by tile. I made some minor changes and then used online maps to fill in the rest.

I also added the Canary, Madeira and Sao Miguel Islands since the Atlantic was much larger than I expected.

I added some rivers and and some (very few) resources here and there but most of the Rivers and resources in the East have to be added.

Enjoy it!

I'm really glad you included space for the Persians. That's great. I'm going to download it straight away.

Is that Tundra in the middle of Sweden? If so, it's way too far south.

Yeah, its a tiny strip of tundra I added to keep the AI from building those annoying cities that are nearly off the edge of the map.

Just make tundra and desert unable to support cities and it works pretty well at eleminating this problem and also limiting the number of cities.

If you ever feel like making it just a teeny wit bigger, I'm always a fan of a complete arabian peninsula, so that 1) it can be sailed around in a proper fashion, and 2) there's a wee bit of the upper Nile for me to put the "Zulu" civ in, as if they were Nubians or some such. But I hain't complaining.

Well done Bugfatty, that's very detailed and quite beautifully laid out.

Thanks. I didn't think that the vast additions like Central Asia, Saudi Arabi, Sweden, Norway and Scotland would fit on so nicely.

Well, if you'd like to then feel free to make a larger version. When you post it, be sure to give 1/3 credit to me and 1/3 credit to Firaxis or who ever.:goodjob:

I'm not planning anything; I suck at map-making! :D
