2.62 Megapack loading bug

Cache cleaned, previous installation deleted. What should I do to deal with it?

I have this exact same problem. Completely new install of Civ 4, then Warlords, then BTS. Extracted the 2.62 megapak into the correct folder, went to run, and hit that same error.

Well I fixed the bug by installing the 3.17 BTS patch. So OP, thats the answer to your problem.

Now I create a game and it locks up on Init Graphics though :-(
