2.7test2 - 2.71 HELP!!!!

I can play 2.7test2 fine but when i try to play 2.7 or 2.71, the mod doesnt load and i get a message saying that civ4 has stopped working.

you propably need to update civ4 to the latest version 3.19

I have the same problem and I've updated to 3.19
So it's probably not that.

Did you use the in-game updater? I tried that too, and while it did seem to download, the game didn't update. Try downloading from the forum here and patching manually. That should get the update to work.

manual patching for me.
reinstalled the game but that only partially solved the problem. It still gets stuck when trying to generate a map of the type 'perfect world' (or something close).

Im not sure, but I dont think that Perfect World works on giant/gigantic map sizes.
Could be the source of your problem.
