2 bugs: Can't load mods + game doesn't save settings

1) I can download mods but they don't show up as installed and i cant access any of their content in the game. the whole thing is unintuitive and broken.

2) the game doesnt save my last game settings as default, so every time I have to redo everything and that's annoying, fix it

For issue #1, is your game installed on a drive other than C? If so then that's the same problem everyone has who chose to install to a different drive. If so, then you're stuck like many of us, waiting for Firaxis to fix their oversight.

For #1, plese apply the newest patch, then delete everything in My Documents\My Games\Civ5\Mods and try to reinstall them again.
