Eagles agree to terms with former Giants Pro Bowl WR Steve Smith on a one-year contract.

What does this say about Djax and Maclin's health? Hell, what does it say about Steve Smith's health?

Jackson was healthy I thought? Maclin has had meningitis for months now...that's usually pretty bad. And a one year contract for a dude who should be in the prime of his career?

A lot of WRs have been getting those 1 year deals...the market just isn't good enough for them to demand big contracts so they'll try again next year.

Jackson is fine for now but I think it's fear of him getting injured (He's tiny) or him leaving the team over a contract disagreement. Maclin IIRC has mostly recovered and will be fine before September 11. He may miss a preseason game or 2 however.

You know, I'm a big fan of Jason Avant, so I'm wondering why we signed him. Then again, Mr. Reid knows what he's doing so I faith it was the right decision.

Let's ride!

The 49s worked out Duante Culpepper. Apparently I should only have thrown 3 darts for my
NFC West predictions, and put the Niners 4th.

Anyone else love how the Bears just decided to ignore the new kickoff rule until they were asked to comply?
