That would be like me saying that I wish Jim Zorn could have shredded our team more thoroughly. I applaud the Broncos for getting him out of there. He should have stuck to being an OC.I thought McDaniels got fired too soon...

And I think you're wrong about Zorn. After all, his QB days were when lots of people had visions...

Hue Jackson fired by new Raider GM Reggie McKenzie. I'm guessing Reggie didn't get warm fuzzies from Hue's naked power grabs. Not to mention the 'New GM wants his own guys' syndrome...

Stafford's not really a fair comparison, though. #1 overall pick, probably one of the top five QBs in the league this last year... I would take him over most people, not just Sanchez/Tebow.

If I were the Broncos owner, I'd never trade Tebow out of pure business reasons. Do you know how many Jerseys and Fatheads that guy sells? His book "through my eyes" is also the #1 selling sports book(beating out "south beach talents") this year. That guy is a gold mine, regardless of his QB skills. Not a bad sports role model for kids either, with the others being LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods and the like.

I hate defending Dirty Sanchez, but also Eli had a much better Plaxico Burress plus Amani Toomer, Shockey, and Barber.
I guess Sanchez just gives more of a "hey I'm going to be a mediocre quarterback and be a burden on a pretty good defense forever guys!" feeling.
