Florida voting to the right of Texas. Wild. What's the deal with Miami-Dade?
Miami Mafia. (ie, Cubans).
Trump, for whatever reason, has always done way better with Cubans than the default Republican.

On a positive note for Harris, PA looks likely to go to her.
Supposedly the early voting was expected to go Harris’ way. They still have to count most of today’s in person vote which likely goes to Trump. So it’s still up in the air

Cubans tend to be far right, even for Hispanics. The anticommunism thing.

The irony being that Trump is the most favourable to Putin who is a key ally to China, but they still vote for him nonetheless.

CNN just posted that she absolutely needs to take PA (explaining that this is due to how Georgia is looking), the way things are. So if it's just the early vote that shows her having a healthy margin, things may be very bleak.

It isn't really "now", FL has been pretty much solidly red since Obama won it in 2008, which should probably be viewed as a fluke.
Not a fluke. It was possible in 08 even if adv was marginal. Moving shifts right in rural and Hispanic areas have since put it out of reach.

OH goes to Trump.

Nope, Brown won. Kari Lake lost, which one likes to see.

THE KLOB (Amy Klobuchar) just won senate race in Minnesota.
ITS KLOBBERIN TIME!

Virginia is also close, which wasn't expected.
Florida going from low single digits pro-Trump in 2020, to +14 or what it is now, also is impressive.

FL has seen huge immigration from northern swing states and has gone from swing to red but that has cost them votes in other now more important states.

Awwwwwhhhh yeah. The majestic Senator from Ohio has righteously prevailed. I wish the larger Dem party would take more notice of Brown's politics. There's a model there that could be taken to more places than the Buckeye state.

IA has been called for Trump, so there goes my quirky prediction.
