Well, where I am at least, its perfectly legal. I see no problem, and even if it was illegal I wouldn't see a problem as a 16 year old girl is capable of making her own decisions.

I like 16 year olds too, and I'm 22. It really is little difference between 16 or 18 year old girl in terms of physical and mental maturity. Heck, some 16 year old girls have a more feminine figure than most of 20 or 22 year olds. Not to mention 16 year old girls may be as mentally mature as some 22 year old guys.

You must have way too much time on your hands if you can spare the time to read some guy's blog on how he practices pickup.
My opinion on the matter is that if it's legal, there's no reason for him not to do it. If a girl wants to have sex, she'll have it with someone, older or not. Notice how 16 is legal in his jurisdiction, so he thought ahead. I don't subscribe to the notion that teenage girls are somehow innocent and are viciously corrupted by older men, because they don't need much coaxing.

I think the orange (14 years) countries are the correct ones, when I compare the age to when it actually happens. In DK, it's 15 (read it or look at the map), and that is much better than the 18-years rule.

I thought it was a general given that if you're a teen, you should be dating your own age, really. There's a huge difference in maturity between a 16 year old and a 14 year old, after all.

It's just a guideline, which works better around 20-30.
As long as she would turn 15 within half a year or so, I'd say it would be ok.
EDIT: Bill has a good point too, as (generally) there are vastly different levels of maturity between year levels for teens.

Hmm... I agree, between some 16 and 14 year olds there is a huge difference in maturity, but the exceptions for teens are so many that it's hard to know which is the exception and which is the normal...
I mean for example I met in the beginning of 2007 a girl that was 19, but you could swear that me and another girl there in our group of 3 (that was 14) were both older than her, from all points of view.
I guess the rule wasn't meant for teens at all in the first place.
