1) How can you change which hexes your citizens work in the city view?

2) Is there a way to slow down the cursor scrolling speed?

3) I read that there's a way to increase the maximum zoom level, but I can't seem to find the game's files when I right click on the CiV desktop icon and go to properties.

Thanks in advance

I can answer #1 for you:
On the top right there's a button called "citizen allocation focus. There you can manually set tiles as per Civ 4 (Any tiles with a lock over them will not be reassigned by the governor).

I would like to add two questions:

1. Is there a way to disable combat animations?
2. Is there a way to disable movement animations?

Buth of these bother me immensely, movement especially. I can't tell a unit to move two tiles without clicking or waiting in between key presses. I get so irritated trying to play I can't make it past a hundred turns or so.

3. I found this in another thread, hopefully it will do the trick. (haven't been able to try it yet as I'm at work)

In Civ5, there is a minimum default zoom level. To show the textures in all their glory, I changed a setting in the Config.ini file for Civ5.

Code:

; How close you can get (11.0=default, 4.0=debug zoom)
Minimum Zoom Level = 4.000000

This has allowed me to zoom in to really see the details up-close.
