This one proposal was overkill. Lategame building maintenance already far outweighed all other expenses pre-implementation, and now it just got crazier. I mean, just look at this:

Meanwhile gold income was nerfed in various ways that makes it hard to stay net positive unless you skip the buildings and work processes instead.

Detailed proposal:
Change lategame building maintenance values back to their previous values as detailed in the table below. Note that Wire Service maintenance is changed to 8 instead of 6 for consistency.

Please unsponsor it, don't revert it, gold is crazy at the end of the game, so any reduction is welcome. I'm tired of not being able to even slightly bankrupt players, and their sudden 2000+ random cash infusions don't help either.

In the last session, several gold reduction proposals got passed that made late-game gold getting tanked.
I do not entirely agree with this proposal to revert it. But since it's a severe issue, yes I have to revert it back.

You can experiment with this on your personal mod, or just change the value in the files yourself.

I think the current net gold income is more or less balanced. At least it was my experience in the recent games.

The problem is that the "inflation mitigation" is implemented solely by the increased maintenance of buildings creating an ugly disproportion. Ideally those numbers should look somewhat of the same order of magnitude: unit maintenance, building maintenance, road maintenance and vassal maintenance.
