So I had about 275 workers with nothing to do, so I added them all into one city, just to see how big it would get. Result: Size 306 which was 469,710,000 people in the modern era. And with mass transit, the city only had 1 pollution icon! So there ended up being about 10 entertainers and 10 IRS agents for each laborer (citizen)!

Could you imagine living in a city like that?

I tried attaching a screenshot, but it was too big (2000+kb), and a zip file was still too big :( .

Edit: Deleted link as Sulla posted the screenshot for me :goodjob: .

No starvation?

Yes, but just 1 citizen/turn. I added all the workers to the city on the same turn.

Thanks Benjamin, I used the easy upload (first time using it). I don't like that it doesn't really tell you if is uploading or not, you just have to wait awhile, then it will tell you it has been uploaded. The screenshot was in .bmp format, so I couldn't upload it, but the .zip file works.

Only one per turn!

This is a real joke! Almost should have died after only one turn.

This make no sense. Why did Firaxis made the starvation working this way?

Dang... I'd like to live in that city.

Yeah, it would be nice to have 10 personal entertainers, but you also have 10 bill collectors knocking on your door......wait a minute, I already have 10 bill collectors after me!

Here's a picture of the city btw...

Hmm.... I would suspect something wasn't right if I ruled an empire where a 461 million city only generated ONE (1) gold coin every few years in tax:rolleyes:

Don't forget the Courthouse and Police Station

:)

dayum !

we only have .6Million people in the ENTIRE country lol !

Including tourists !

Only 1 shield!!! I guess the citizens work, like, 5 minutes per year.

PARTY!!!! [party] [dance]

Ok, so if a city hits 5 million pop somewhere after size 30, and your size 306 city rep's 469 Million, that means that there were about 430 million individuals in those 290 workers whatever.

Now think about what that means for the efficiency of your workers...:D

Good point. I may be wrong, but if I remember correctly, when the city was a size 31 it had 4,990,000+ people. That's approxiamately 161,000 people per population point. After adding the 275 workers (469million / 306) it would be about 1.5 million people per population point. I wonder if foreigners had anything to do with that? At least half of the workers were captured workers.

Oh, wait.... I bet I had just gone from industrial to modern age, maybe that was what made the ratio change that drastically?
