5 female polio workers shot dead

That doesn't seem to be clear at all to those who continue to try to rationalize and defend "the worst this species has to offer" quite frequently.

Well, I guess it seems pretty simple that using an immunization program to gather actionable intelligence on a military assassination mission is pretty much exactly the same as packing ammo into a red cross ambulance. We set limits on what we do in our pursuit of violence not because our cause isn't just, but because everyone on all sides thinks their cause is just and having at least some decency even when we've surrendered to barbarity is still a good thing.

That is typically the problem with those who think the ends justify the means. They rarely, if ever, see they share the same fault with those they vilify and hate.

And this is a clear case of the latter.

I think you're cutting it a little differently than Mobby is. Killing the Polio workers is pretty clear cut. Using vaccinations for military intel is pretty clear cut. Just because decency is breaking down doesn't mean both sides are pretty clearly in the wrong, there isn't grey anywhere here at all, really, merely a wrong for a wrong.
