Now this Barb adventure is ended, I think our Holk will attack and win against the barb Axe (96 %)

As for next tech... I'd normally go for alphabet long before this time period, but if all our trading partners have it we maybe can do without a little longer. However, it seems that if our trading partners have it we should get it from them rather than be depending on them for everything. We should not be content to be junior partners, and should plan a strategy to become senior partners by the Industrial Age.

Code of Laws is useful for getting out specialists, from which we can get GP's which will let us build academy and bulb the Philo>Edu line. It is also on way to Civil Service which is what we should be aiming for (bureacracy). I'd vote Code of Laws, but would love to hear other suggestions and rationale from the team!

(Note: I am thinking about a tech-heavy game here, true to our team name. This is suitable for Space Race victory, and late military victories. If we have something else in mind, let me know.)
 
I would research currency and try to trade CoL. (but I don't know our diplomatic status)
 
If we want currency, then we must get Alpha for the better factor.

The movements sound good but I am not sure about tech since we seems to have a unique situation with all the tech trading... The obvoius would be to go for something the others dont have and use it as a bargaining chip but would that be effective with our current agreements?

I agree. If we have friendly terms with those who already have CoL and Alphabet, we should not be researching those. We should choose something nobody else has.

Note...It almost looks as if the trading partners are concentrating on the upper and middle part of the tech tree, leaving the bottom for us. As long as we are getting fair trades, I'm ok with that.
 
I'm still alive but have had rough times at work and home. Looks like maybe the pace of turns has slowed down a lot?

We should gently get all tech we can from our allies. It was supposed to be an "all-in" type alliance but we had been avoiding tech trades to hide that from the other two teams. As mentioned above, not having things like Alphabet means we can't take advantage of the bonus for knowing all the pre-reqs of the next tech.

With eot there are 2 more barbs, lucky only warrior; and lucky also we have some own units there.
