Just got this message tonight:

Thanks for your concern. I have been seriously ill and the last few years have been tough. But I'm still on the green side. I haven't thought about Civ in years but on a whim I thought I would stop by. Everything has changed and I may be too old to get back in the groove. How is the modding going? Any other news? Take care...

Just thought those of you who remember him and modded with him might like to know.

I too just came back after like some 10 year absence. This site is very changed, confusing and overwhelming now. But the forum part is still mostly the same as ever, so there's no reason to not come back to the forum.
