I'm not sure how to animate it so I left it off, if you wish i'll post one with a prop

Good job! Very nice model for the beginning - how much triangles it has?
You could put shadows on the wings and body - i use brush with opacity set to 10-20% with brush option "Lighten" - it makes realistic glows on the body and cheat eye -> the 3D realistic effect is more visible.
