Not if they all happen to be encouraging the mod to do non-mod things like WoW they don't!
Decloak: Right. Every time someone posts, 10% of the update gets done.
zomg lets all spam quick!
Specially Perserved American Men!
While the point about encouraging the mod to play WOW is right, the reason is that it prevents an NES simply being forgotten about.
No need to post here, EQ wont check. He said he would pick up again at the end of the semester, so you can badger him all you want, but he ain't going to update til when he said he was going to.
At best we can hope to see Collapse of the US up and running soon :-/
ok after this update i will be back and ready to NES till i die! or get busy with tedious work again...
Can you believe that EQ is running the NES TWTUD and has been posting repeatedly in there, but hasn't said a thing in here since more than 2 weeks??
IIRC He posted that this was on hiatus for now. May have been in another thread though.
Yes, I believe it. And yes, i said this thread is on haitus here, possibly moving to permanent. Personally I feel there's few things left to do for this NES, and the history may be better suited to wait for a sequel. Jury's still out on that.
Even if this NES dies now or soon, which I hope it doesn't, it was still in the top ten 15th NESes ever, or atleast Post wise. I think I did decent in my first NES, since the WW1 or WSU, don't know what to call it yet, doubled Canada's IC income. And I think a sequal should start around the turn of the century, as I believe things are still cooling down from the WSU.
A sequel for ABNW would take place turn of the century similar to the start of TWTUD.
I was looking forward to this continuing. Watching industry grow and possible expansion in the future.
Really? But what about the Great Turkish War, and other joint actions by the secret allies?
You won't keep the borders the same, right? Actually, will you take BT orders?
Ah... I was looking forward to playing Alexander III, but oh well.
I declare the official end of this NES, but here's two things for the reader's disposal. I would also, if people feel like contributing, enjoy reading about the events which lead up to the world I've created in the following maps and stats. If anyone cares to write stories, I'm sure all would enjoy reading them.

Smart money on where the next world war would start as at 1900... Belgium v. the Netherlands.
Leeziana went indy, huh? I guess it figures. Still, I got Africa.
In the Shadow Palace of the Republic of Greece, men lurked in the shadows and plotted...
"President Eleuthereios, we have completed THE MISSION."
"Excellent. With THE MISSION complete, we will be invincible."
"... How so, President?"
"Have you never read the great works on warfare? To be invisible is the greatest shield, to be inaudible is the greatest war-cry. Greece will stand triumphant; Greece prevails!"
