Here it is
Um. You've found a bug that lets you update a late game warship to early game cavalry? Could be useful in an emergency I suppose.
He upgraded his Companion Calvary to such a high level that they can probably wipe out a civ by themsefs.
Nice. In my recent game I got cavalry from ancient ruins in medieval era far before gunpowder and leveled it up to blitz 3 shock etc. by killing off invading enemy medieval units only to get pwned by a SINGLE samurai...
I later EVENTUALLY killed that samurai with several units and burned it with fire to be sure... Jesus Christ!
nice, my melee and cavalry rarely get so highly promoted. I'll tell you what though, a level 10 frigate is a force to be feared. +1 range, 2 attacks, indirect fire, +3 bombardment... fun times
What's the lightning bolt third from the left?
Yey again a good example of the unbalanced Battle-ai mechanics. Too much silly upgrades....
Blitz (extra attack).
Pew Pew Laserz, Rank II.
Isn't the sword an extra attack?
IIRC, the sword with the little cross is the "charge" promotion which increases damage done to injured units.
2 swords is the icon for logistics, the extra attack promotion for ranged units.
Ah, that's what I was thinking. I don't usually get many heavily promoted units outside of ranged units.
Blitz is actually better because logistics only gives you one extra attack while blitz gives you as many attacks as you have movement points. This is particularly notable on Companions with their obscene 5 movement points. You can move through a road tile and then immediately attack 5 enemies in a line in ONE turn.
Wow, that is obscene
Would be cool if we could actually see a list of all the bonuses a unit has... like civ4.
Um... it's there... in the exact same place as civ4...
Sire, the enemy cavalry has... *gulp* ... laser cats.
No, you can only mouse over each individual promotion (and if you have too many, they get covered up and you can't see all of them), in civ4 you could mouse over the unit graphic in the corner and get a popup listing every attribute the unit had.
I thought this was a statement about Switzerland (look at the shape of the map)
Separate names with a comma.
