Hello again guys.
After trying few games (which ended before classical era) I managed to play for a longer time and... I have a few questions about mods features:

1) What all this "resources" are for? Nets, baskets, charcoal and so on? I can't find any profit that they give to a city or civilization... Nor can I find anything that requires them...

2) How are "product = reasources" different from classical resources found and gathered on map?

3) What happened to this beautiful water graphic from Civ4 Colonization that was used in "A New Dawn"? Now the traditional "not so pretty" Civ4 water is used...

4) Is 3GB switch still needed to avoid crashes? I played C2C on my netbook (Win7/4GB RAM) without any probles but on my stationary super-machine (XP only though) I get "back to windows" often.

5) How exactly flanking works? I understand the idea but I don't know how the idea is implemented (I love numbers - Give me numbers pls)...

So far so much questions - thanks in advance from answering :king:

Any 32bit OS that has more than 2GB RAM installed needs to use the "switch" to use the extra RAM, at all regardless of the program you are trying to run. This includes 32 bit XP/Vista/Win7. The motherboard can have as much installed as it can handle, but still will not use it with a 32bit OS. If you have a 64bit OS, the "switch" is useless as the OS already handles the extra RAM.

What access to fresh water means to the city. I know there is several bulidings that give that bonus but i never built them cause i dont know what it really do.

Some are used for building req, some are used for building bonuses, some are unused for unit bonuses and some are just not done yet. Some examples ...

- Nets = Used for Various Seafood buildings (ex. Tuna Nets, Shrimp Nets, etc)
- Baskets = Used for Fishing Traps and Eel Traps
- Charcoal = I forget if it was used for anything yet.

They work just like Steel or Hit Movies in Vanilla Civ.

I think charcoal is needed for the forge or foundry (or was at some point-I remember being worried about it until I realized it was produced by one of the cooking buildings and haven't worried since).
