I used a lot of the Civ3 custom graphics (I got from this forum), to create a city-state on a distant-planet. Their space-ship crashed, cutting off a dry river-bed and creating a dam, which created a little oasis. They eventually built a city-state; there's probably a god-king, or the likes, living in the inner, walled-city palace complex.

I used Sprnv8's Mar's Terrain (I really like that terrain-set); the base, I did at 50% to get some contrast with the normal-sized tiles.
Oceanid set, Womak's Irrigation (I think), Mango-forests, like, two versions, and the Altantian city-sets; I had to crop the buildings out of them. I didn't have that many tiles, so I stacked the buildings and put domes / towers on everything. Those towers are lamps. The orange-hills, I colorized myself; don't ask me how I did it. The crashed ship I got from sprite's resources. I thought of this in 2012. Hey, I take my time and, I think of a lot of things.

Full-size here:

I got the idea for this, when looking at that sprite and thinking, "That could be a gladiator-arena and wouldn't it be cool if they were pscionic in the future on some distant, red-world.

That looks very interested, and I have some of the same downloads! What terrain set are you using?

I used the Sprnv8's Mar's Terrain-set; there are like, two other Mars-sets, but I think this is an old one from 2003? The Orange-Hills was something I figured out and I don't remember how I got that color to match the Plains (Orange) terrain.

Good Job on the Hills. You probably changed the Hills to Grey Scale then copied and pasted them on a Blank Plains file so the Hills picked up the same light/dark colors in the Plains Palette.
