Hi all!

Would someone please post some screenshots (before/after pics) showing what a heavy nuke bombardment can do?

I ask this because I am midway into a game on a large map, and am stuck. Totally stuck. My starting position was on a narrow strip connected to the mainland, and that part of the continent is not all that rich. So I came up with an idea: :goodjob: :nuke: WWIII. I want an dea of what a large number of D day weapons can do to the countryside.

good luck, nukes will kill about half a citys population. if youre lucky, it MIGHT even kill some of the units in the city! and it will destroy a few TI's around the city.

you would be better off making a bunch of modern armors and blitzing the AI.

When did I say that I was only gonna use nukes? Perhaps I should have put ::goodjob: WWIII-:nuke:

I intend to throw the world into a state of turmoil. Long time allies will turn against each other, the weak will fall and the big and strongwill be under seige. That is were I come in. I shall wipe out any civ too weak to repel my attacks, I shall take the small, and make them large. Any civ too large for me, or simply too far away to be subjugated. Will be destroyed, utterly destroyed. Grassland will become desert, thriving cities will be cut down to size and razed, and I, Pharaoh of Egypt will rule the world! :egypt: None will oppose Egypt! NONE! Under my rule we, the people of Egypt shall acend to the stars!!!

It is our destiny!

It is our right!

The twisted tyrants of the north will FALL!!!

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

*ahem*

Would someone get me my foreign advisor?

;)

Problem is, simply using a nuclear weapon against someone will cause everyone else to go to war with you, unless everyone was else was at war with them.

Plus, thriving cities lost to desert will affect you too. I'm not sure if if nukes utterly destroy a piece of land or just pollute it, but enough pollution squares and global warming will occur, changing territory to less producing terrain.

Plus, unless you get all the other civs to declare war on whoever you're going to nuke first, you'll have 7 angry leaders knocking down your door with massive armies before you know it.

:crazyeye: I have my crazy moments! Its just that seeing an american city with 7 gem squares and a piece of iron kinda ticked me off...

:egypt:

600+ years of war has passed.

Monarchies have fallen.

Nations have fallen.

Corruption reigns supreme.

I totally control the southern hemisphere.

And I am two turns away from getting modern armour.

KILL KILL KILL!!!

(By the time I get nukes the world will already want me dead. Ah well, thats is wat you get for betrayal.):p
