A highly biased guide to the Tory leadership contest

I'd be a damn sight happier with Ken Clark as Prime Minister than Phoney Blair. Hell, I'd even prefer Ken Clarke to Charles Kennedy. Clarke is anti-war, pro-Europe - exactly what I'm looking for (Charles Kennedy is also anti-war, but nowhere near vocal enough). If he's also against ID cards (which, if he really is a Conservative with a big C, he will be) then I'd be sold.

It's these reasons I really hope the Tories choose some uber-right winger and scare all the floating voters away.

Malcolm Rifkind seems the most unelectable, they should go with him. Death to the Tory party!
