[PieceOfMind;7541896]A problem I see with playing three games simultaneously is that autosaves will keep getting wiped. I rely on these on occasion for sorting out bugs.

One way round this is to increase the number of turns that the Autosave keeps before overwriting. For example, if you are playing in 25 turn chunks, then change to 75 the maximum number of autosaves kept in the directory before being deleted. This will mean that the last session for all three games will be kept intact.

I think the 'strategy layer' is a nice feature, but it would be fantastic if it could be expanded into some kind of 'situation room', where you can
- zoom in while still draw lines
- one-click-dotmap and get useful statistics (eg max prod, commerce, or food at certain sizes)
- use different coloured lines
- toggle which are visible in the regular mode
- toggle some of the info from the domestic / military advisors

I hate having to go to photoshop to do dotmapping, but with the current strategy layer it is just too painful...

I have no clue... I would think it might be, given the fantastic mods that people have been making. I'm okay with python/xml and C, but I don't have much time (and the time I have I prefer to spend playing... sorry!) and I have no experience with the modding process, so I think it would be at least a couple days before I could become productive.

I know there's a BUG mod add-on somewhere with the drag+drop dot map thing. It's not finished yet, but I know what's done is available for download if you have BUG 3.5. Here.

Are you sure? I was under the impression the entire autosave folder is wiped when you start a new game and hit end turn at least once.

I could be mistaken though.

Actually I have the interval set to 1 and the max number of saves at least 700.
