I have something in mind to force a certain government progression, but I'm not sure it will work. Essentially, I want to make it very heavily favorable to go to the Communism government by being a Federal Republic first. FR essentially represents a modern Capitalist state, and it will have a government-specific building that adds 50% extra tax income in the city. I want to make one of the Communist-specific improvements require the FR one in order to be built.
The problem is that, upon switching from the government required for the improvement, that improvement should cease to function; I assume this also includes culture output, but that's really inconsequential here. My issue is, will the game recognize the Federal Republic-specific improvement when I switch to Communism, so I can build that Communism-specific improvement with the FR-specific prerequisite, or will the game freak out and not let me build it at all, since it doesn't recognize that the FR improvement even exists?
