To be specific: This Baseball Jersey. (picture attached)

Whats up with the 3/4 length sleeves? Where I come from thats a very girly feature.

Is this normal clothing for men in the states? And do other non-americans share my scepticism?? :D

I've never seen this before (atleast not on a man, nor really on women/girls in my area; I am American). I don't like it.

I used to wear these all the time. That was 25 years ago tho. They're supposed to be undershirts for baseball jerseys. Not sure why they're only 3/4 length sleeve, but that's the way they're made.

I wouldn't buy it but I wouldn't make fun of somebody for wearing it. They're neither sissies nor butch. I don't really get 3/4 length shorts either.

I see. :)

This part of american culture is completly new to mee. Weird.

Yeah, I can't really recall ever seeing someone wear one of these, male or female (also American here)- so my vote might be better placed as "weird." If you're wearing it while playing some sport I suppose it's ok but still I've never seen anyone do so (including people I know who play baseball...)

I see them very infrequently. Would not wear one, don't really care if somebody else I know is.

I voted "butch," even though that isn't the word I would use to describe them, but they're more "butch" than sissy.

Butch is a word I would use to describe a masculine lesbian, and since I can picture a masculine lesbian wearing this shirt, I voted that way...sissy lesbians wouldn't wear these...

This is really helpful. Thank you all. :)

I don't. But then again I'm not an average American guy.

Hahaha! Noted :D

I've worn something like this -> when an old item of clothing became too small as I grew up. :D

Wouldn't wear them if I had a choice. I do think they make the men look kinda effeminate, but I certainly would not make fun of anyone wearing that. In fact, I wouldn't make fun of anyone wearing almost anything, unless it's really, really, really ridiculous.

But this is one of three standard t-shirts for men on an internet shop?

http://t-shirts.cafepress.com
Who actually shops at CafePress though? No one I know. Maybe college kids with their parents CC's.

But don't listen to me, I'm outside the times & the mainstream, shoot I've only actually seen one or two "emos" outside of the Internet & had never heard of them pre-CFC.

I own two of these. I see them sometimes on college campuses, but not really outside of that.

They def. do not have a feminine stereotype attached to them here

The 3/4 sleeves were big in womens' fashion right around 1999-2000. I own three or four such shirts. I've never noticed men wearing them, but I don't think they're particularly feminine.
