I don't see Palin winning the primary, but its POSSIBLE.

I see the rest happening by 2012 (I'm pretty sure the Dems kept the senate.)

Palin should go back to Alaska and never leave her house.

Why do you care if she goes to the grocery store?:mischief:

I'm not a big Palin fan by any means. But I'd support her against Obama in a heartbeat.

So what you're saying is that the marginal success of the far right ideology you associate with, if not endorse, will result in the United States tearing itself apart?

    I think I missed something.

I actually think that something like the nullification crisis could start happening again in Missouri with the whole health care law Obama passed and Missouri passed a law contradicting it.

I just hope the Conservatives don't back down.

Go separatism, needless violence, willed ignorance, self-importance and blind fear! [party]

(I assume you mean that you hope they really stick it to the Feds good)

Thats not the issue, shes fine going to the store as long as she is not going to create a rally for the Tea Nutters. Lately, when she steps one foot out of her house, she just creates a rally. She needs to be shut out, out of mind.

I would not support Palin in any way. If it was between Obama or Palin. Id go with Obama any day over the radical fascist reactionist.

Did I say violence? That should only be a last resort, and would have to be started by the Feds.

Even if a state secedes, violence is still started by the feds, justified or no.

I know you meant political things, it was a joke...

She's not a fascist. At least not anymore than Bush or Obama...

So what you're saying is that you're okay with instigating violence so that your healthcare can be provided entirely by privatized interests? Historically, the first time a state seceded from the Union it started bombarding a base of the United States' military.

Fascism is an overused term. It has an actual meaning, people.

Historically, the first time a state declared its intentions to secede, it did so by raising the militia to prepare to march to Washington.

Which refused to withdraw from territory of a different nation. It would be like Pakistan telling us to withdraw all our military bases, we refuse, they attack us, its their fault?

Aware, and I wouldn't consider Bush, Palin, or Obama fascists. In fact, I wouldn't consider any of them to be even close. That was my point...

I was referring to when Dom used the term to describe FDR in the favorite head of state thread.

That's just because Domination is so thoroughly committed to liberty that he refuses to abide by your fascistic standards of linguistic consistency! ;)

Nothing, unless there's a majority of Congress that would pass anything on a Tea Party agenda.

However, a lot of legislation probably would not pass, given the veto or the prospect of a veto shelving bills.

Executive orders may be up to which specific Tea Partier wins, since there is some variance on certain issues. Same for foreign affairs.
