Of the choices I think I like just Civ6 or civvi the best. None of them are terrible though.

Other "creative" options like we had with five and ciV etc. just seemed waaay too pleased with themselves in how clever they thought they were.

And abbreviations are supposed to be easy to read. civ and ciV aren't different enough.

    None of the above.

    How about Civ6? Or CiVI?

That might be it. Probably better expressed than how I put it.

Though I have to admit that for Civ 4 there's just something fun about typing "civiv" instead, heh.

CIV6 or Civ 6, it's consistent with the earlier games, and some of the others had meanings that could be confusing:
CVI, as someone noted, is the Roman numeral 106.

CIVVI, on the other hand, is a bad rendition of the Roman Numeral 112

And, since the 112th day of the year is the Holy Day for the Holy Slobbovian Church's Saint Surtax, the patron saint of People With Artificial Limbs, it would be Prosthetically Incorrect to use it.

Mixing numbers and letters is just epic fail.

Not that Civ Six is better since it's Civ VI, only when spoken is it civ six.

SIX? SIX of what? NINE? Are we going Borg here? No, thank you, I'll keep it at a crystal clear CiVI.

Well I'm going to see if I can get my phone to auto correct "civ6" to "Sid Meier's Civilization: The sixth of its series" and see how that plays for people.

We did not have this issue with Civ II or Civ III. Some clever person noticed the potential with IV, and it caught on.

V, of course, continues the trend. Yes, I guess VI, VII, and VIII could continue the same way. Good enough. But I think we should take advance of this one chance that:

    SIX

Also gives a superficially impression of being a Roman Numeral, especially in the context of CIV. This does not happen with any other digits. So...

    CIVSIX

...And then they can release an enhanced version down the road called Super Civilization VI and it can be abbreviated as SCiVI. Hopefully, it won't come in a brown box... :p

Civ6 for me, I really don't get what is good on CiV, CIV, Civvi, Ciiv and the like, it only creates confusion.
