I understand what you mean, but its been sitting around for a year. I usually show my work on my threads for people to comment on them before I upload. I am always open to suggestions that make my work better. But after a year and once its released its hard to go back.

Looks great! You did a really nice job, and I think it looks believably enough like a younger version of Lincoln! :)

Agreed. Most portraits show him after worrying about the Civil War had taken its toll on his body.

While I hesitate to criticize a project that I had a hand in, and with such excellent detail work to boot, I have to reluctantly agree with K that it doesn't actually look like Lincoln at all, but rather like a contemporary. Lincoln had a differently shaped skull, and a much higher hairline, even as a younger man:

Lincoln, Abe Lincoln.

Those prominent cheekbones are distinctly Kentuckian; I was in a strip club in Louisville once (er, researching) when a gentleman who looked exactly like this picture of him, came in and sat down at the bar. Unnerving, to say the least, as I couldn't get the idea out of my head that he was Lincoln. In this picture anyway, he resembles a young Sean Connery a bit...

He has a comb-over! :dunno:

I still think that, given the limitations of the available Poser models and morphs, that Shiro did a very respectable job in attempting to create a Lincoln LH. I think the nose, eyes, ears, and mouth are pretty close. The only things that could perhaps be adjusted slightly are a more gaunt face, a more square jaw (although altering the shape of the jaw is VERY difficult with the basic Michael 3 model - if that's what was used), and as mentioned, a higher hairline, although again, a good variety of hair props is hard to come by for male models in Poser, and the "Hair Room", if available, can be problematic to use.

Just to complement a little more, debate about the accuracy of the modelling aside, the figure looks nice, hair is added really nicely, and the background has believable perspective height to it, and works well.

Great job! :)

Would any of these links have the hair you need?

It's not my intention to torture or cajole you with this: I'm only trying to be helpful. That last image you posted is still better than the original; until you can find a useable model that is more gaunt and square-jawed, or a hair prop that looks combed from the side, then just go with that, and you can revisit it later, if the urge strikes...

Well the second link is for M4, which is what I am using. But it doesn't look like it includes a hair prop. The hair doesn't look like a prop either, it looks like it is added directly to the figure, if its included at all. Its a face morph, and I think my version is better.
I'll download it later, and see if there is a way to pull the hair off that figure and apply it to my own.

The first link, I don't see anything I could use.
