Were they switched? Or am I just going senile?
They were switched.
Whoever did this is probably laughing like this since Thursday ------>>
I accept this proposal, oh damn, I clicked the wrong button
Yeah wtf, just...
I reloaded one game like 3 different times bc of this, before I realized that on my huge map game, with which I’d been initially impressed bc of the AI actually not spawning too close for the first time ever, that there were no city-states on my continent.
Restarting AGAIN. Lol
Yeah what the heck was the point of changing them, I keep screwing myself lol
Same here. Just did it again on a new game. Really maddening that they did this.
It's been like that since the Hungary preview. And it seems somebody else has been driven insane at the change beside me. Worse, no response.
I've already gotten used to it. I don't think I misclicked once amazingly. My eyes generally look for the green.
Your mind is clearly more nimble than mine. After I forget the last occurence and get into the game again, I forget and automatically hit the wrong choice, meaning I have to reload from the previous turn. Quit playing a few hours ago now so if I try again tomorrow it’s sure to happen again.
As someone pointed out earlier, the previous layout kinda deviated from the industry standard of Yay on the left and Nay on the right. I guess that’s why they made this change. It takes time to get used to it, but I guess we’ll be fine after a week or so.
Lack of notification about such changes is mind-boggling, though - including the changes they made to pre-GS roster. People are still trying to figure out what exactly they changed about the Zulu and Indonesia, if at all.
Proposals be damned! Much more serious is that now I nearly delete my saves when I want to load them. Those muscular habits are really difficult to fight.
i had an idea - need to swap functionality of mouse buttons for devs or persons who brought this "bright" idea.
i refused probably 50 diplomatic propositions because of this idiocy.
They were switched. It makes more sense now where the boxes are located, though it's annoying because I've accidentally accepted deals I didn't want clicking too fast.
Whoever made this change underestimates the power of muscle memory.
you should be glad they didn't make the two buttons randomly placed every time it comes.
Why is it my tier 1 governments are randomly placed every game they come up? I've almost clicked the wrong government several times. Some games Oligarchy is on top, some games it's on the bottom. I don't understand why.
The button switching annoyed me to start with but I've been careful so far. won't be long before I'm used to it.
Separate names with a comma.
