Be the last person standing after comets begin falling.​

What are the criteria for this achievement? Should I eliminate every other player and then continue playing until the comets start falling in the late game? Or do I play through the last stages of the game and let the comets knock out the rest of the players (assuming I have a sufficient amount of land to survive)?

It's awhile since I cracked that achievement. I think...

Turn off all victories apart from Score.
Eliminate everyone else. Chop, burn (with Soothsayer), build coal plants and wait for the end of the world. (Comets).

6 armed snowflake is a good map for this.

If you eliminate everyone else you trigger a win "everyone else has lost so you win" ....

Pretty sure you could.

Yes, that's how I got this achievement. But my opponents were destroyed by comets
I advise you to stock up on a lot of settlers at the end
