Add a Trait

So ive found the trait infos, and most of the tags make sense. but i want to know, if i add a trait, what else do i have to edit to get it to run? can i even do it with XML?

You probably need to use python to add the actual effect. Depending on how many effects are set to work directly with XML.

Actually I think just adding a leader trait would be fine; it might need some civilopedia text though. Then you should be able to use that trait as one of the leaders traits.

It depends on what the trait actually does.
