Adding a unit---help, please

[The Art of War]

I saw the tutorial about it a few threads down and don't understand a word of that. So, can someone explain to me, simple way, how to put in a new unit that I downloaded?

BTW, how do I save changes with the editor? I'm rather new at this stuff.
