Adding chemical and biological weapons to VP?

I was wondering if VP could add these weapons. It would change how battles are fought. I find it ridiculous to use nukes to achieve this purpose of warfare. Is it possible? I know nothing about modding but if I got the time and its easy then I might try. For biological weapon, we could use the nuke and instead of fallout, the tiles affected would have characteristic similar to a marsh tile, the unit ending turn on or passing thru that tile would get the diseased promotion, but we could modify the promotion to last for a considerable duration. Wherever the unit, the diseased promotion could spread to other units provided that unit is adjacent to it. If possible the "bio-nuke" can also drop directly to cities or spread by units entering the city and the population slowly die off until a counter to it is made eg (buildings, policies, resolution) or we could make the effect last a certain amont of turn. I imagine this must require alot of complex coding work, maybe can do it in another more simpler way?

As for chemical weapons I have no clue, maybe we can use the nukes and guided missile as a template for AoE damage and for precise strike respectively. We could either instakill affected units or give them permanent/temporary promotion that weakens their ability? Or we can just make chemical attack a promotion for artillery units so they can deal damage to enemy and reduce their hp every turn.

IMO, this can be a cool feature and there is alot of new concepts that can build on it. eg We can have resolution in UN to ban these weapons etc.

I think this is easier said than done. But once again, I dont know much about coding. So maybe someone can give me a visualization of the possibilty of this feature? My logic is kinda flawed so pardon me if this sound riduculous
 
I dont think that we need sth like that in VP. Nukes are the stand for mass destruction weapons, the use of any kind of those weapons ends with an heavy diplo hit, like in RL it would. ;)
In warfare, nukes are a last resort use, if you want to crush an enemy without army completly or if you want to brake through an heavy front line. There is nothing beyond nukes, only maybe the Robot and the X-Squad. It is really a very end game mechanic in general, sth you dont see in every game. Why adding sth new with just painting it green? Fallout is ouch, but can be removed, the same like marshes can be...

To speak about a general disease mod or event (chain) is another thing, things like the Black Death and might be an difference from always damaged farms as an bad event ... (... but isnt there an Civ 5 mod with diseases? Im quite uncertain about it...)
 
I don't think Civ5 engine (esp. AI) could handle it. Otherwise, a pity.

VP abides by the Geneva Convention. :)

Forget that... Instead why not add mechas and future tanks etc... almost like a single bar off the future tech tree...

Think about it... MECHAS... Think about it... Ohhh it could be SUPER cool. All it would take would be permission from Bouncy to add instead of all of Future worlds just a few Units...
 
There already is the metal gear replaciement for Giant robots... think about how cool it could be to have droids...

Yeah! I was hoping for a compatibility patch to make the future world mod playable with VP but alot here said a game with pure VP is already long enough, adding future era prolongs the gameplay boredness. IMO this era would be the most unique as this is the "Future" anything imaginable can happen. Many new elements can be introduced in this era
